No Trial by Marsha Burns
What I like best about the internet and e-mail is that we don't see each other. I often only know people by name. I don't know what they look like. I don't see what they're wearing. I do not know if they are rich or poor, nor do I know their level of education or employment. I can't see your mistakes I don't usually know if they are single, married, separated, divorced or widowed. I do not know his religious or political affiliation. I only know things about them that they willingly share with me. How liberating!
The Lord says, "It is time to become aware of your subconscious judgments. Pay attention to the thoughts that arise and rank people and assign a value above or below what you believe they are you are locatedMy love is the same for all people regardless of their race, gender or size. I don't look at your outward appearance or your worldly achievements, I only see your mind and heart.."
"This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." (John 15:12)
“For now we look dimly in a mirror, but then we shall see face to face; now I partially know, but then I will fully know as I was also fully known. But now faith, hope, love, these three remain; but the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:12-13)
What we see or know about other people may be obscure or relatively nonexistent, but that might be the best way to keep us from judging them. The scriptures warn us against making judgments, which is a function of sowing and reaping.
“Judge not and you will not be judged. Don't judge and you won't be judged. Forgive and you will be forgiven.” (Luke 6:37)
We are judged by how we treat others.
We live in a world of division and contention because people judge each other by their own standards. Prejudice prevails because we tend to believe that where we are and what we have is physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, religiously, politically, or ideologically superior. But I say to all of us that none of this will matter when we're in the presence of God.(Photo via Pixabay)
The most important spiritual rule
We can love because God loves us.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God." (1 John 4:7)
"Beloved, if God so loved us, we must also love one another." (1 John 4:11)
Love is the most important spiritual standard of every generation. If we know God and have His Spirit, we will have the evidence in our lives that manifests as the fruitage of the Spirit.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, temperance...” (Galatians 5:22-23)
Let's grow some fruit!
The Way of Wisdom by Bill Burns
Spiritual understanding will lead you on the path of God's wisdom.
“Hear, my son, and accept my words, and the years of your life will be many. I have taught you on the path of wisdom, I have guided you on straight paths. When you walk your steps will not be impeded, and when you run you will not stumble. Hold fast to the command, do not let go, keep it, for it is your life" (Proverbs 4:10-13).
God will guide you
The path of wisdom is established as you ask God to guide you through this time. God will guide you to walk in his path.
"Check the way of your feet and let all your ways stand." (Proverbs 4:26)
"I will instruct you and teach you how to walk; I will guide you with my eyes." (Psalm 32:8)
Satan will prevent you
Satan will try to throw you off track and hinder your journey.
The Lord says, “If you wish to live in My spirit and establish yourself in divine order, you must do all that I ask of you... You, My people, have come a long way, but you must strive until your Obedience means stopping before you reach your goal, but moving toward total freedom from whatever is holding you back.
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done with meekness and wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfishness in your heart, don't boast and lie against the truth. wisdom does not come down from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where there is envy and selfishness, there is confusion and all evil. But the wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then peaceful, kind, yielding, full of mercy and good fruit, without partiality and without hypocrisy." (James 3:13-17)
You must fight the good fight of faith to stay on track and achieve victory.
"That's why I run like this: not with insecurity. That's how I fight: not like someone punching the air." (1 Corinthians 9:26)(Photo via Pexels)
"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:57)
The Lord says, “I will lead you and I will certainly give you the opportunities necessary to receive the fullness of what I desire for you.The choices you make now will either lift you up or take you down the mountain.Don't let yourself go back Do not allow yourself wrong decisions, but seek Me and seek the advice of My Will in all things.
"I will lead you in paths of righteousness so that you may have the power you need: power to conquer the enemy, so that the circumstances and situations you face will lead to victory and not defeat.says the Lord.
4 necessary things:
1. You must make good decisions.
2. You must not re-offend.
3. You must allow Him to lead you.
4. You must seek the wisdom of God.
“My son, if you accept my words and keep my commandments within you, to incline your ear to wisdom and turn your heart to understanding; yea, if you cry out for discernment and lift up your voice for understanding, if that “You seek as for silver, and seek for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and you will find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom; out of his mouth comes knowledge and (Proverbs 2:1-6)
"Listen, my son, and be wise and guide your heart along the way." (Proverbs 23:19)
be wise!
"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God, to break down strongholds, to break down arguments and all pride directed against the knowledge of God, and to lead every thought in captivity to obedience to Christ, and being ready to disobey every one to punish when your obedience is fulfilled." (2 Corinthians 10:4-6)
Be aware of your thoughts and judgments and align them with God's Word!
